If you are looking for an officiant to give you a ceremony to remember, for a love story that tells your guests all about your relationship from the very beginning including all your favorite memories, then you MUST book with NY Officiants!!!!!Our consultation was great and super easy to book! Chris was very flexible with our time frame given my fiancé working nights and myself working early mornings. We even had a hiccup where we wound up not being available last minute given an emergency and he accommodated us no problem! When speaking with Chris over the phone he walked us through all the steps of the ceremony and made it feel so simple! This helped with our stress and anxiety, and his explanation really helped! He walked us through his website over the phone and explained everything they offered and how they work. We were able to read reviews right from their website (just like how I’m writing now) and man did it really draw me in to see all the positivity from past weddings and very recent weddings as well!We were unable to have Chris be our officiant as he had a prior obligation, but he assured us that after he read our love story form he will pair us up with whom he thought would do our story justice… and boy did he hit the nail on the head! We got paired with Mark and he was amazing!!! We had the opportunity to video chat or set up a phone call with Mark prior, but I had so much faith that I didn’t feel like it was necessary. (Plus things were so stressful in other areas which needed my full attention). Chris and Mark at the NY Officiants knew what they were doing and their confidence gave me all the confidence in the world and outright trust and faith in them. I never needed to reach out to Chris either, he always contacted me when there was an update for something! He basically held our hands through the entire process!!I cannot express how magical our ceremony was. My fiancé and I were crying at some parts, laughing at others, and just felt outright love during the rest. We chose the love story option with Chris during our consultation. He personally writes all of the love stories with the form you supply… and oh my gosh was it perfect!!! They way he told our story was as if he was there witnessing it himself. Our friends and families were in awe and found out new details about our relationship (even those who thought they already knew everything). There were parts in the story that I forgot I had mentioned and when I heard it I was stupidly shocked and thought “oh my gosh how did he know that” and then remembered… “oh wait I told him”. Chris had written it so well and Mark spoke it so well at the ceremony that it felt like I was being told my story through there eyes. The amount of family and friends brought to tears was shocking! Especially certain people I would never have thought would have cried did!During the receiving line and reception everyone was complimenting our officiant and telling us how amazing the ceremony was. How it was romantic, but also funny at times and even some somber moments. My fiancés aunt and cousin were still talking about the ceremony the next day! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience… it truly was the ceremony of our dreams!!Thank you so much Chris and Mark for an amazing and stress free experience as our officiants!! We had the pleasure of working with Christopher at NY Officiants for our intimate ceremony this past weekend. We contacted him just a few weeks before our celebration and he got back to us immediately to schedule a call to walk us through the process and get to know us. I am so happy we chose NY Officiants to marry us! From first contact through follow up, Christopher was amazing every step of the way. He is personable, professional, and a fantastic orator. I found him through Thumbtack and reached out. Within the hour, Christopher responded to my inquiry and set up time to speak with us about what kind of wedding ceremony we were interested in, how personal we wanted it, whether we wanted humor or religion to be part of it, etc. He took the time to explain the process and his style, making sure it matched our expectations and vision. We decided to personalize the ceremony by writing our own vows and adding on the Love Story option. Christopher had us fill out a questionnaire to shed some light on how we met, our relationship, what makes us tick as a couple, and more. From that he crafted the most beautiful and funny narrative for the love story. Our guests loved it and a few of them said they thought Christopher was a friend we had known for years! The ceremony overall was so perfect. Christopher was able to make it sweet, humorous, emotional and serious all rolled into one. People laughed, cried and cheered accordingly. Behind the scenes, Christopher spent time before the ceremony walking us through what to do from beginning to end. He also handled everything related to the marriage license signing to make it all official. We highly recommend Christopher if you are looking for someone who truly understands the importance of the ceremony and takes great care to make sure it is well executed, super special and tailored just for you.

Chris was absolutely amazing. Great officiant, loved the light humor he brought to the ceremony, especially since we didn’t want to make it so serious. Chris was amazing to work with! He was always quick to respond whenever I needed to speak with him! At our first meeting, he was super informative and really helped me become familiar with the entire process and how things were going to work on the big day. On my wedding day, Chris came to see me in the bridal suite and made sure I was good to go! He walked me through what to expect and was so kind. Christopher did an AMAZING job at our ceremony. We had a 300 person black tie wedding in Manhattan. We were very nervous and he kept us calm throughout the entire process. Not only did he make the ceremony intimate but he also kept the audience engaged. After the ceremony all of our guest complimented how great the ceremony went. They asked us what type of ceremony we were looking for in order to tailor their script to our desires. Christopher was the officiant for my wedding on 9/22/22. He did such a stellar job that I had many friends and family members commenting about it. When we were looking for an officiant Chris spent an hour on the phone with us walking us through everything and answering all our questions. The way he spoke over the phone was very professional but had a sense of humor which is what we were looking for in our officiant. My husband and I got married yesterday. It was a hot sunny Friday early evening outside. Let me tell you- Minister Christopher at NY Officiants was amazing!We stepped aside just before the ceremony and he made my husband and I feel calm in the midst of all the excitement!The Personalized Love Story was so beautiful, fun, and light hearted! He wasn’t just reading answers that we wrote down- Christopher really made a story out of how my husband and I met, how he proposed and fun facts about us. Exactly what we were looking for, Amazing!!! Easy to talk to, professional and funny……I never write a review but I need to tell you about my experience because it was perfect. My wife and I just got married yesterday 8/26/22 by Minister Christopher of NY Officiants at Villa Lombardis. I truly want to thank him for taking the time in getting to know us as a couple and to be able to deliver such a memorable ceremony. He took all of what we spoke about and used it in “our love story” portion of the ceremony and throughout. It was so personalized and special. I could tell he took the time in learning about us and everything was polished and comfortable. I was a bit nervous about what to do before the start and the time was taken to go over everything we were to do and say. We were originally worried because sometimes wedding ceremonies can be a bit on the boring side, this wasn’t the case at all. So many of our guests came up to us to let us know how great it was. It was the perfect time for everyone to learn more about us. Christopher spoke of how we met, what we love about each other and the many reasons why we decided to get married. He also had the crowd and us laughing at the right times during the ceremony. What a great experience and a great person to deal with. We truly were lucky to have such a beautiful experience with Christopher and NY Officiants. I hope everyone’s wedding day could be as special as the memories we have because of him. Chris was our MC and officiant, and he tailored our ceremony and made it extremely personal. His retelling of our love story was touching and showed attention to details. As our MC during the dinner / reception, he was able to keep the crowd engaged throughout the night by inserting jokes and games between our first dance and speeches. His time management was excellent, and he was able to react and adjust the timing of different segments accordingly when we ran over time on a few items. Our officiant had to cancel and Christopher and Susanne saved the day!!Unfortunately our officiant had a loss in the family and was unable to attend the wedding (a few days before our wedding!) and I reached out to Christopher. The original officiant that we got 3 months prior our wedding cancelled on us just 2 days before the big day and we had to find a new one asap. Luckily we saw NY officiants online and messaged them right away. Christopher from NY officiants responded quickly and was able to book as a new officiant, also named Kristoffer, despite the last minute arrangement. They were very professional and had us go through all the details very well. So then came the big day and my make up artist was 2 hours late! Kris had to wait at our wedding location for almost 2 hours too for us. When we finally arrived, Kris' face showed no distress from all the waiting. He was very pleasant and very nice. Oh and we also forgot to bring the copy of our licence due to all the stress we encounterd. Kris was kind enough to drop by our house to get the document from us. They handles everything great! I definetely would recommend NY Officiants. If we could give them 10 stars for this review, we would!

My friend married us and I learned (thru this page) that it may not be considered legal on LI a little over 2 weeks before the wedding. I reached out to Christopher at NY Officiants and he was so insanely sweet! He called me the day after I sent a request online and spoke to me for some time. I got married at GIorgio’s at 4:30 and he had a wedding in the Rockaways at 2 that day. He knew my husband and I weren’t doing our first look until 1 so he FaceTimed him while he was sitting with me! He was so sweet and insanely helpful that day. After I hired him, I told my friend who’s getting married in October to hire him, since we have the same friend marrying us!! ♥️

We had everything set for our big day May 14th, 2022. Christopher was so helpful in walking us through the steps to plan the wedding ceremony to occur at the venue before our reception. Last minute our wedding was thrown a bit off track due to several guests falling ill to covid. We decided to postpone the reception but still wanted to get married (new location) so we contacted Christopher at NY Officiants and AGAIN he was so helpful and accommodating (so stress free) he helped us switch our plan for the ceremony. I have to be honest, I did not know what to expect for our new plan (Hotel room ceremony planned in less than a week) BUT I have to say, Christopher's vibe and approach to marrying us (in the new environment) was AMAZING! My Fiancé and I were both completely happy with having the ability to still get married, with our families watching via zoom. Chris was absolutely wonderful and a lifesaver. Highly recommend him as an officiant for your wedding!My (now) wife and I had received our marriage license and we were originally planning to have a ceremony at our new house. However, due to unforeseen circumstances and delays, we were not going to be able to have the formal ceremony before our marriage license expired. To make matters worse, the delay to get a new appointment for a marriage license was another 2-3 month wait and we’d likely miss the summer window we were looking to have a formal ceremony during.I called a bunch of officiants and tried to leave messages asking for the impossible (seeing if they would be able to marry us the next day)! I was about to give up when I came across Chris’s website. I gave him a ring and he picked up on the 1st ring. He had just finished up from another wedding and stepped aside to chat with me. He was already booked for 3 weddings the next day, but he was totally willing to make accommodations and the impossible happen!He offered what I believe was the “greet and sign” private ceremony, where he stopped by my house to officially marry my wife and I, exchanging vows and signing our marriage license. I had my parents there to serve as witnesses, and he even added in a ring exchange as well.He made it way more personable and memorable than I ever expected, and even more, completely saved the day for us and went above and beyond to get us married within such a tight timeframe.Thanks to Chris we’re now officially married and able to plan the formal ceremony on our terms and hold it when it works for us without the pressures of needing to fit it within the 60 day marriage license window.Thanks again so much Chris!

Looking for more of a formality wedding, we wanted something really quick and easy. Christopher was quick to respond, had reasonable prices, is licensed for the 5 burroughs, showed up on time, was super friendly and professional, and met all our expectations. I had originally reached out to Chris on a Monday night looking for an officiant for the Friday only a few days in advance. He responded immediately and everything was set up within the hour. We decided to do the meet and greet signing, but it was much more than that. It was the perfect intimate ceremony that we wanted. From the moment we met Chris, we felt like we had known each other for years. A zoom meeting that was supposed to be 30 minutes, turned into almost 2 hours! LOL Chris was so personable, informative, patient and honest. He knows this field extremely well. He was able to suggest venues to decor. Certainly knows his bells and whistles. I would trust Chris with my wedding dress decisions! Haha There was no doubt that when we had our meet & greet signing, our friends & family would feel the same about Chris.We were expecting a quick signing but Chris surprised us with a memorable, intimate mini ceremony-like moment. Christopher officiated our wedding ceremony in December 2021 in the midst of the Omricon chaos. Although originally planned to use city hall, the process forced us to find alternative solution. We reached out to Christopher last minute via Thumbtack and within minutes he replied and guided us through the process. He was professional, courteous and efficient. We met him on video call first then in Central Park where he showed us a few options and made suggestions where to officiate ceremony and taken a sincere interest in our requirements. We chose a perfect and romantic spot. On the day of the wedding, Christopher delivered an intimate, romantic, charming, spontaneous and humorous service in which it felt as if he had known us for longer than the few days leading up to the wedding and better than we could’ve ever hoped for. After speaking to over a dozen Wedding Officiants we came across Ny Officiants and spoke with Christopher. We knew right away he was the officiant we wanted. My fiancée and I chose to do a very low key, simple ceremony to make our marriage official: we actually went to a Starbucks and had the barista as our witness as Chris said our vows! It was official by the time our lattes were made. Stress-free is the way to be! We were so pleased with how quick and easy it was to book with Chris, he is so responsive, professional, and knowledgeable on the process that it made us feel comfortable and made the experience an extremely positive one. Chris is so friendly and easy to talk to-it’s as if you have been friends with him for years and he listens to what you want your day to be like. Chris definitely cares about the couples he officiates and is married himself so he understands what an exciting time this is. If we do a vow renewal years later, I’d pick Chris again!

We had a small ceremony on the beach and he took the time to help us prepare, arrived an hour early and stayed to mingle with the group after. Chris was very detailed in letting pick and choose what we wanted to do for the ceremony but he threw out good ideas and even with the information given felt like he was reading chapters in our lives. I highly recommend anyone to use Chris to use for their wedding ceremony. With less than 24 hours to my wedding day officiant tested positive for COVID and had to back out from marrying my husband and I. Chris far exceeded our expectations. We saw copious positive reviews, but what we got was even better than we'd hoped. My husband and I are very playful, and Chris was able to capture both the seriousness of a marital union as well as the humorous, more silly side of a loving couple.
